How to hub all the rules of an entire organization in one single page?

Management of knowledge is a crucial part of my current job and one of the best things in it is when we can positively change the routine of people. This is one of those cases.

I work for a very complex organization, with thousands of rules. We also have many different systems and they may divide content into various distinct sections. It makes it hard for employees to find answers about anything.

Some time ago, I led the development of something that would minimize this trouble. What if every single document with rules on how our organization works could be displayed on one single page? We did it.

The first thing was to break the content in 6 main areas: stakeholders, strategy, processes, people, organizational structure, and governance. Then, all the documents were listed under these categories, allowing access.

In the same solution, we also provided an interactive infographic, where people could see a great amount of information on the expectations of stakeholders while moving the mouse.

In the end, the product was acclaimed by consulting firms, who attributed a higher score for the management maturity of our organization after that.
