How to support the growth of small businesses in foreign commerce?

In Brazil, small businesses represent only 0.5% of national exports. On the other hand, it counts for 27% of the total GDP. It suggests the opportunity to improve foreign commerce in Brazil by supporting the activity among small businesses.

To do so, we need to enable professionals on helping small companies to sell abroad. And this was the intent of DataSebrae Foreign Commerce. There, we present useful statistics by state and by city, through interactive dashboards. We also detail the flow of current exportations by state and suggest online courses for free.

In this project, visual identity was also a challenge. We wanted users to interact with images, in a respectful atmosphere, as demanded by the subject of international trade. It was supported by the typography and a well-defined pallet of colors. The illustration was also an important resource for those objectives. It followed the isometric style, in a realist painting.

Going further, we also used SVG pictures to improve the interactivity, thanks to the development in JavaScript, users could see different information while moving the mouse, in certain segments of the home page.
