How to reveal the numbers of education in Brazil?

In Brazil, education is one of the subjects with the most detailed sets of information. Actually, information wouldn’t be the most precise word, but only data. The government is able to collect tons of data about students, schools, and teachers. And this is made available through complex databases, that almost nobody can use.

Since our organization also supports entrepreneurial education, we were suddenly involved in the issue. Our challenge was to create a new solution to give access to the information contained in that bunch of data.

Data Educação Empreendedora (Data Entrepreneurial Education) was created to do that. By that time, we worked with interactive panels, containing graphs and maps. And soon, there will also be an entire digital library on the theme, as well as thematic reports.

It’s worth saying, it was released in a national event of education in Brazil and is being applauded by many public managers over the country.
