How to tell the demographic characteristics of any neighborhood in Brazil?

In the module DataSebrae Indicators, we have around 70 distinct indicators in subjects that go from total numbers of enterprises until the quality of life. The most important thing is that those indicators are available to be filtered by the city. It means that you can tell how many companies of a specific business activity exist in the city of Rio de Janeiro, or in the other 5569

Brazilian cities. The same for any other indicator… Value of taxes that were collected, number of employees, production of milk or watermelon, and so on.

Then, we realized this wasn’t enough for many strategic decisions. Our users needed to go deeper than the municipality. They needed information on their specific neighborhood or even quarter. How they were supposed to know where to open a new restaurant, for example?

We created a new module, called DataSebrae Locais (locals) to cover that. There, you can choose a city and mark a point on the map. The system will report 7 different metrics of the area: number of companies by sector, number of employees, the gender of the inhabitants, as well as income, race, age, and level of education.
